oh the places you will sleep

We went out to dinner on Sat. and had a sitter for the kids usually when we get home Bristel is in her bed and Birklee is usually right next to the sitter (she is my little uneasy girl she inherited my worriness) anyways this time Birk was sound asleep in her bed and Bristel was also sound asleep only she was in the toy box it was so cute Brydger was in one she was in the other :)

Mrs. Hawkins

Mrs. Hawkins is our cute little neighbor lady she is an avid garderner, flowerer, fruit treer, etc...etc... an all around green thumb the girls love to see her out there and always want to go help her I think they are a little more help then she loves to have but she is very patient with them and lets them help for a minute and then tells them she is all done and goes in the house til a later time... I love to see the girls helping her and every time they ask if they can go over I head out and hide on the porch with the camera so they do not know I am capturing them on film. I used to love to help my grandparents with their garden I think I often called it help but it was really more eating what was in the garden that I loved. That is one thing I did not inherit a green thumb so I love that they are able to share in that small experience with her.

My daughter is so stinkin hilarious sometimes Casey tapped me on the shoulder to take a peak at her and this is what I saw

I promise she does get dressed during the day but the minute we hit the house it is off with the clothes into the pajamas and out with the hair pretty my kinda gal all that stuff is to stuffy :)


and this is how she fell asleep I know my father-in-law and husband will get a kick out of that since they always say that I am on the phone to much!

The small and simple things...

It always is wonderful to think of how small and simple things really are in the eyes of my children the beauty they see that I sometimes overlook. We were getting ready for church on Sunday and we hear Birklee hollar from the back porch mom-dad come here this is FANTASTIC... to no surprise the bird in the backyard had decided to make a nest in the roof over our back porch I had noticed it starting to build the nest but it hadn't been around for awhile so I thought it had nested somewhere else, the girls were so cute and thought it was wonderful to see! of course in the beginning I had thought what a nuescense for the birds home to be there but after seeing the girls I now see beauty in the nest! they were trying to catch the robin to put it in its nest to them it is FANTASTIC! It really is as I was looking closer at it I see all the stuff it brought from various places in the yard to build its home, one mans junk is now a pretty birds treasure....

My Forever Friend... My best Birthday Gift

I just want to tell you I have the most wonderful friend I may not be able to see her out my kitchen window but I know she is always there... she makes me feel like there is no one as special as me and I love her for that... I hope she knows how much I miss her and think of her every day and how happy she makes my Birthday each year, she always knows when I need her most.

Sometimes in life, You find a special friend;

Someone who changes your life Just by being part of it.

Someone who makes you laugh until you can't stop;

Someone who makes you believe That there really is good in the world.

Someone who convinces you that there really is an unlocked door just waiting for you to open it. This is Forever Friendship.

A big step

This is our little Bristel being so big she loves the horses from a distance but anytime you would get close to them she would wig out- she rode with Casey a couple of times and was fine as long as she was on top of the horse and on Monday Brodi came home and rode all the horses sissy was out with him and pretty soon he called us on the phone and told us to look out the window and there she was being brave as ever! Good job Brodi sometimes being a big brother is better than being a super hero! I just love my horse

Aaronic Priesthood

This Sunday Brodi received the aaronic priesthood and is now a deacon I just want to take a second to say how happy I am that Brodi is my son he is such a good kid I get very impatient with him sometimes and expect alot out of him I try to sit back and realize he is only a 12 year old ALL BOY! He always trys his best to be a good example he seems so tuff on the outside but is such a teddy bear on the inside he is a good brother and friend to his sisters and the same to his cousins and friends he is very accepting and often times you find him picking out the ones who need a friend most and he is a great friend to them. He has always had a testimony of his own -he is such a great example of so many things to our family I love him very much and I am so happy he is such a great part of our family... On top of all that doesn't he look so dashing in his new suit!

I hope Brodi had an awesome birthday, he got a bran new roping saddle and he deserves it he has been really working hard on his roping and he is doing very good, he is very dedicated at trying to do his best at roping and handling the steers like he should I am very happy for him to be doing so well he loves roping. He had a rodeo on his birthday and the night before, he was so cute on his birthday he told the announcer- hey did you know its my birthday today! so every event he was in the announcer would say -and this is Brodi Jones and its his birthday today and he's riding on his bran new saddle today it was funny when the rodeo was over he says did you hear the announcer mom every time I was in the arena he would say and this is Brodi and its his birthday etc.. etc... he's a funny announcer isn't he.

This is Samantha and Birklee at the rodeo I think this is a very cute picture my sister has always told me that Birklee looks just like Samantha if you died her hair dark she says they look just the same, They definently both have similarities the biggest being they are BEAUTIFUL :)

Bristel is so cute with uncle Marvin she goes right to him and leans on him and loves him like she is buttering him up for something big

Busy weekend

We had a busy weekend this past weekend we had a rodeo 2 nights and it was also Brodis birthday he is now 12 he is getting so big and grown up...

SCIENCE PROJECT

It was so fun to help Brodi with his science project. He had to make a model of the solar system He and Braydin painted all the planets with careful care to make sure they looked like the picture we were looking at then we created what I thought was a really cool model good job guys

Silly Girls

My girls are so silly they wake up and are so funny they have an obssesion with dresses lately I am always cussing them because they get in their closet get out their nice dresses and want to play in them (I am getting better about that they are only dresses!) this day was so cute it was a Monday so my mom was home with us I was cleaning the bathroom and came out to these cute girls and grandma playing in the yard :) Call us crazy we want to wear shorts in the winter and snow boots in the spring or atleast i think it is SPRING!!

THE SCHWAN MAN....

I seriously chuckle every time I see a Schwans truck people probably think I am nuts, we used to have some pretty pushy schwan men down in Magna and on occasion we wouldn't want to see them, It was quite convenient to be talking to your best friend across the street at that time :)

I was over at a friend of ours when her schwan man came and low and behold I now have a Schwan man of my own.... :) I snapped this pic yesterday because it reminded me of that favorite memory of mine so I thought I would share.....

I just thought I would capture this moment these sissys actually do sometimes get along without picking on each other or having screaming matches :) they aren't dressed for the day yet but I guess not all pictures can be perfection....

we got to have a sleepover with Zoee and Evva while they waited patiently for their new brother... We had lots of fun the girls played til 11:00pm before they finally talked themselves to sleep with the very cutest of conversation... kids are so funny when you actually just sit and listen to their conversations when they do not know your listening!

I had told them if they would get to sleep I would take them to the park the next day, to our surprise it was snowing when we got up poor little Evva had her heart set on going to the park after they got out of the tub and dressed she put her coat on and was just sure we could still go even though it was cold...

I am MAGICAL!!

The girls played lots of dress-ups and every time Evva would put on a dress she would say that, it was cute she is definently magical her hugs are and smiles are priceless :)

Baby Jones (not sure of his name yet :) )finally came he is very cute and so little and tiny...

AUNT TAMMYS

Brodi had a sleep over at aunt tammys house, when we went to pick him up we stayed and visited for awhile it was fun- here are some pics of the kids in some of their mischeif... I am sure the goat and cute little buddy was glad to have Brodi head for home :)

Brodi and his little buddy... Ty was so cute with Brodi, He kept saying where is Brodi I need him to fix my rope, I want him to rope with me it was very cute. I am pretty sure Brodi loved every minute of it.

Brodi has loved this pony ever since Lee rescued him every time we go visit Tammy and Lee if we can't find Brodi he is sure to be out in Buddys pen brushing him or breaking his poor back by riding on him he is gettin a little big for poor little ole Buddy but he sure does love him...

This is Marty he is Brydgers cat I am pretty sure he was meant to be a tiger or something he is the hugest cat I have ever seen you can't tell as much in this picture but he is a big ole cat...

Just a little fun at aunties they were supposed to be loading the trailer with weeds and moving them to the fire pile but I think they were having more fun pulling the trailer with no weeds... silly kids full of mischeif...

My little Birklee is so funny she loves dress-ups this is actually a poodle skirt over the top of a witch hat, I came in to the front room and she was on the floor and all I could see was the top of the hat and she was all folded up underneath she has such an imagination!!
